1. PAYMENT by CREDIT CARD
If the credit card holder is not the passenger, you are required to give the credit card holder’s name, surname and e-mail address during booking for security purposes. A confirmation e-mail including booking and payment details will be sent to passenger and credit card holder’s e-mail separately. If necessary, information e-mail(s) regarding cancel/rebooking/rerouting requests will be sent to passenger and credit card holder’s e-mail separately after booking.
If the passenger apply Turkish Airlines Sales Office/counter in order to rebook/cancel/refund a ticket or to check-in for the first flight, credit card holder must be present at the counter with the passenger to show the credit card used for the payment and a valid Identification card or credit card holder shall apply to Turkish Airlines Sales Offices to show the credit card used for the payment and a valid identification card before the first flight recorded in the PNR.
For online bookings, we only accept MasterCard and Visa for the payment.
If the credit card holder, of which the credit card is used to purchase the ticket, is a Miles&Smiles Elite Plus, Elite, Classic Plus member or Classic Miles & Smiles member who has already earned 10.000 miles or has flown at least 6 (six) flights, conditions of submitting the credit card stated in paragraph three and four shall not be required. It is necessary for the Miles&Smiles Member to use its membership and PIN numbers while purchasing the ticket by means of credit card. The membership and PIN numbers are private and confidential and can not be shared with third party. Any transaction made by using correct membership and PIN numbers will be considered to be made by the Miles&Smiles member. Any and all responsability shall be borned by the the Miles&Smiles Member in case of any irregular usage. The right to use any other sanctions stated in the Miles&Smiles are reserved by THY.

II. If you are booking through our web site between maximum 355 days to at least 3 hours to your first flight and making your payments by using Credit Card or EFT-Money Transfer, your journey is eligible for electronic ticket, your ticket will be issued as an electronic ticket.
III. Credit card holder whose credit card is used for the payment of the ticket is under no obligation to be passenger.
IV. If the credit card holder is not the passenger, Cancellation/Rebooking/Rerouting requests of the passenger can be realized unless the credit card holder is present with the passenger with his/her credit card (used for the payment) and an identification card or the credit card holder must apply one of the Turkish Airlines Sales Offices to show the credit card (used for the payment) and his/her valid identification card.
If the credit card holder is not the passenger, credit card holder must be present with the passenger(s) at the check-in counter with his/her credit card (used for the payment) and his/her valid identification card or the credit card holder must apply one of the Turkish Airlines Sales Offices to show the credit card (used for the payment) and his/her valid identification card before the first flight.
V. If the credit card used for the payment is a virtual card, please do not forget to bring your credit card to which your virtual card is related.
Please contact the nearest Turkish Airlines Sales Office (within maximum 7 days from the flight date) to receive e-ticket document which includes electronic ticket information and can also be used as an invoice.

b) Ticket on Departure
I. When reservations and purchases are made between 355 days and 3 hours prior to the departure time, you can pick up your ticket at the airport.
II. Credit card holder whose credit card is used for the payment of the ticket is under no obligation to be passenger.
III. The delivery of TOD (Ticket on Departure) tickets is made at the Turkish Airlines’ sales counters at the airport. (To learn more about which airports are eligible for TOD service, please see the list above.) While applying to the TOD desk, please do not forget to bring your credit card used for the payment and your valid identification card.
If the credit card holder is not the passenger, TOD delivery can be realized unless the credit card holder is present with the passenger with his/her credit card (used for the payment) and an identification card or the credit card holder must apply one of the Turkish Airlines Sales Offices to show the credit card (used for the payment) and his/her valid identification card.
IV. If the credit card used for the payment is a virtual card, please do not forget to bring your credit card to which your virtual card is related.
V. For Self Check-in, please use the credit card which is used for the payment. Virtual credit cards cannot be accepted for Self Check-in.
c) Reservation Only
I. Reservations can be made between 48 hours and 40 days prior to the first flight. You may buy your ticket from any Turkish Airlines Sales Office or make the payment within the given ticketing time limit through our web site.
II. All airports served by Turkish Airlines may be the departure point of your journey.
III. Fares are not guaranteed until you buy your ticket.
1. Pure domestic reservations booked through our web site can be cancelled via our web site by the passenger, if there is more than 12 hours to flight and unless it’s ticketed To cancel your booking, first click on ‘My Reservations’ on the Online Ticket pages. Your reservation codes will be listed after you login. When you click on the Cancel button in the same page, you will see cancellation terms and conditions. Cancellation is realized when the Cancel button is clicked once again. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from Turkish Airlines regarding your cancellation request.

2. Ticket refunds will only be made by Turkish Airlines' sales offices. Fare may carry a significant penalty for cancellations. According to fare rules refunds may be up to %100 percent of the fare. Ticket refunds can only be made in the country where the ticket is issued.
3. For the ticket purchases via our web page ,refund can only be made to the credit card used while making the online reservation for the tickets which is refundable.
4. If you make payment and ticketing formalities of your booking by using “THY Pay &Fly with Internet Banking”, for cancellation, refund, rebooking and rerouting procedures please contact Turkish Airlines Sales Offices in Turkey. All cancellation, refund, rebooking and rerouting procedures will be realized by Turkish Airlines Sales offices according to ticket fare rules.
5. The ticketing service charge is non-refundable. There won’t be any additional service charge for ticket refunds.
6. O, U and G class tickets;
• Except G/Cl 49 YTL, U/Cl 59 YTL and O/Cl 29 YTL (domestic airport service charge is included, all other taxes and charges are excluded) fares, If reservations will be cancelled 12 hours prior to the departure %30 percent of the applicable fare will be charged as a penalty for refunds. No refunds can be made after departure.
• For G/Cl 49 YTL,U/Cl 59 YTL and O/Cl 29 YTL (domestic airport service charge is included, all other taxes and charges are excluded) fares, before and after arrival /departure in case of cancellation and refund ticket is non refundable and rebooking/rerouting is not permitted.
a) Electronic Ticket Cancellation-Refund
Electronic tickets including at least one international flight cancellation, refund, rebooking and rerouting procedures can not be made via our web site. For your cancellation, refund, rebooking and rerouting requests, please contact nearest Turkish Airlines Sales Office with your Ticket Itinerary Receipt (TIR) an acceptable form of identification (Passport, National ID Card or Driving License)
b) Cancellation after Confirmation and Refund / No- Show (Ticket on Departure)
Before Departure :
For domestic flights, if there is more than 12 hours to first flight, cancellation can be made through our web site and full refund is applicable. If there is less than 12 hours to first flight, cancellation via web site is not allowed and refund will be made according to fare rules.
For international flights; cancellation via web site is not allowed. Penalty clause of the fare rule shall apply for cancellation/refunds.

Nonusage or refund of a promotional or restricted ticket may cause loss of right .

Duplicated Reservation/Booking: All reservations made either via THY web site or other sales channels are controlled by THY systems automatically. According to the reservation rules, if reservations are determined as duplicated reservations, only one of your reservations will be kept and the rest of them will be cancelled without giving any information. Please make sure not to make duplicated reservation.
Discounted Ticket:
You can purchase child and infant (Discounted) tickets via our web site for our international flights.
The students (Aged between 13-24) (Younger than 25) and the seniors (Aged 65 and more) purchasing student discount and /or senior discount ticket must present a valid id (Passport, driving licence or marriage certificate) at check-in otherwise they will not be accepted to the flight. This option is valid only on domestic (Turkey) flights.
Student:
To be eligible for a student discount, passenger must be between the age of 13 and 24 (Younger than 25) who are attending a school as a registered student. You may make a reservation for maximum 7 students in one PNR. If you need to make a reservation for more than 7 passengers, please make another reservation. This option is valid only on domestic (Turkey) flights.
65 Years Old And Older Passengers:
Passengers who are at the age of 65 and older are eligible for senior citizen discount. You may make a reservation for maximum 7 passengers if you need to make a reservation for more than 7 passengers, please make one more reservation. This option is valid only on domestic (Turkey) flights.
