1. What is the procedure for stretcher?

A Passenger, who requires a stretcher, can not travel without written approval of a doctor and without an escort. Escort should be an adult and be able to look after the passenger during the flight.

Turkish Airlines does not provide an escort hostess for these passengers.
A doctor report that defines the passenger’s illness and includes statement that the passenger’s illness is not an obstacle to prevent him/her flying is required only in English and Turkish.

Reports written in any language other than English and Turkish is not acceptable without the approval of a notary public.

The report date shall not be later than 10 days.

2. Is it possible to travel in business cabin with the stretcher?

No. Passengers with stretcher can only travel in economy cabin.

3. Does the escort of the passenger with a stretcher fly free of charge?

No. Please call Turkish Airlines sales offices for the applicable fares for stretcher and his/her escort.

4. Do you provide accommodation for passengers who have connecting flights at the stopover point?

If Turkish Airlines won’t be able to provide a connecting flight to the passengers according to the schedule at the same day or if the connection time is more than 10 hours (for business class passengers more than 7 hours), hotel service is given to the passengers with confirmed tickets unless fare note has a restriction. All segments of the ticket must be Turkish Airlines international flights and the reservations must be confirmed.The coherences of the terms and conditions of the ticket are checked in stopover point and also hotel voucher is prepared at stopover point.All the visa prosedure (obtaining visa and charging visa) must be done by the passenger.Unless Turkish Airlines is not responsible for acomodation.

5. Do you provide ambulance service?

We provide ambulance service from terminal to the aircraft on departure and from aircraft to the terminal on arrival.

6. What kind of services do you provide for Business Class passengers?

Separate check-in counters, priority on seat selection, publications are provided. Business Class passengers are invited to board the aircraft after all economy class passengers are settled, Special Baggage Tags and separate/special baggage loading is also provided. Easy Check-in, e-mail and fax check-in are also available only in Istanbul Ataturk Airport.
Business Class Lounge can be found in Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Antalya Airports in Turkey and also in 53 international origins.
