1. What should I do if I want to send cargo from/to Turkey?

From Turkey to abroad ;

You should contact to any IATA cargo agency which will deal with all customs procedures, prepare airwaybill, packaging etc.on behalf of you.

From abroad to Turkey;

You should contact to our Sales Offices in the relevant country.

2. What should I do if I travel with my pet or send my pet as cargo from/to Turkey?

From Turkey to abroad;

If you travel with your pet in the same flight, you should contact with our Passenger Reservation Department or If you send your pet as cargo in any flight, you should contact with IATA cargo agency which will do all customs procedures, prepare airwaybill, packaging etc on behalf of you.

From abroad to Turkey;

If you travel with your pet in the same flight/If you want to send your pet as a cargo in any flight, you should contact with our Sales Offices in the relevant country.

3. Does Turkish Airlines carry live animals in all aircraft types?

Turkish Airlines carries live animals in the cargo compartments of all passenger aircrafts.

4. Where can I get information about cargo rates from/to Turkey?

From Turkey to abroad; you can get information about cargo rates from IATA cargo agencies in Turkey,
From abroad to Turkey; from our Sales Offices in the relevant country.

5. Where can I get information about domestic cargo rates?

You can get information via www.tkcargo.com / Domestic Cargo Rates.

6. Do you transport cargo by your passenger aircrafts?

Yes. Turkish Airlines transports cargo by passenger aircraft to all international and domestic points on its network besides freighters. You can get information about schedule of passenger aircraft via www.tkcargo.com / Schedule.

7. I want to send cargo to abroad but Turkish Airlines has no direct flight . How will I send my cargo?

By means of truck or/and other airline connection, your cargo will be sent. Please contact to our Cargo Reservation Department for further information.

8. Where should I contact for my lost or damage cargo claims?

Please contact to our Cargo Operation Control Management via cargoclaim@thy.com addres.

9. What should I do to take delivery of my cargo which comes from abroad?

Please check your cargo via www.tkcargo.com with the airwaybill number or with the flight number and date. When your cargo came, you should contact to Delivery (import) Service of the relevant Cargo Operation and Sales Management with your authority certificate for delivery (procuration, identity card, certificate of your company etc)

10. I want to get information about cargo dimensions for each aircraft types.

The maximum cargo heights must be as follows:

83 cm for Boeing 734/735/737/738 aircrafts,
160 cm for Airbus 310/343 aircrafts.

The maximum cargo width and length changes according to loading position of each aircraft. You can contact to our Cargo Reservation Department for further information.

11. I want to get information about to check my cargo throughout the world 24 hours a day.
