Miles&Smiles award tickets and companion tickets that can be issued either for yourself or for other persons. Calling -444 0 THY- will also be sufficent for all reservation changes and mileage refund transactions for your already issued Miles&Smiles award tickets. Miles&Smiles business upgrade class “J” will be changed to “Z” Class on Turkish Airlines flights. You are required to have a valid and paid Economy Class ticket in Y, B, M, K, H, S classes for Business Class upgrade and C, D, J Business Class tickets for First Class upgrades. Paid tickets can be upgraded to the next higher class in return of miles.

Attention to the Business Class passengers and Elite Plus Card holders

Business class passengers and elite plus card holders travelling by Turkish Airlines may require fast track cards which are available from check-in desks of  international flights. Fast track cards are enable the passengers to pass faster from passport control counter 30 in İstanbul Ataturk Airport arrival floor.

Star Alliance

Turkish Airlines has been a Star Alliance member since April  2008 as it is known. Miles&Smiles members earn miles when travelling on mutual flights of the Star Alliance member carriers. From now on Miles&Smiles members will earn mıles on flights operated by TK or other Star Alliance  member carrier  flights regardless of the airline designator code on the ticket. members will earn miles under the designator code and in accordance with the accrual chart of the operating carrier.

Credit Card Presentation

Credit card presentation is not obliged for Elite Plus, Elite and Classic Plus Miles & Smiles Card members and for Classic Miles & Smiles members who has already earned 10.000 miles or has flown at least 6 (six) flights.

In order to be accepted to the flight , no credit card presentation required in case the credit card holder members have the circumstances given above.

According to Miles&Smiles program rules Elite and Elite Plus Card holders can have their flight class upgraded to business class at time of check-in by redeeming miles from their Miles&Smiles accounts as soon as there are available seats in business class for the requested flights. As of 09 Jun 2009 last minute upgrade service can be applied also for Classic and Classic Plus members under the same conditions with Elite and Elite Plus members. Furthermore first class last minute upgrade service can be applied for all Miles&Smiles members, Classic,Classic Plus, Elite, and Elite Plus members.
NOTE:  Offline stations can not apply last minute upgarde services for Classic and Classic Plus members.Offline stations are listed below.
