Base & Heavy Maintenance

THY is fully aware of the importance of quality in your business and offers you a world class quality job, timely delivery and advanced technology monitoring each maintenance activity on your aircraft at the Maintenance Control Center, supported by well qualified Engineering, Production Planning and Quality Assurance staff during 24 hours a day operation.

The purpose of the Maintenance Control Center is to follow up maintenance activities and, in case of unscheduled maintenance requirements, come up with a new schedule for maintenance operations and a new timetable.

THY is an FAA and JAA approved company for maintenance, repair, inspection and modification of aircraft with practical experience in heavy maintenance since 1938 and provides high quality maintenance programs in line with the JAA and FAA requirements for each aircraft and customer. Our licensed engineers working at the Maintenance Center hold approved JAR-145 and FAR-145 certificates.

The most reliable services are provided with high quality standards in the two maintenance hangars, which are suitable for the maintenance of both wide and narrow body aircraft.
For years, we have been performing all checks (up to and including D&S checks) for our own fleet and miscellaneous customers. Our main goal is customer satisfaction by minimizing ground time and maximizing customer revenue. THY’s Periodic & Heavy Maintenance Services can also perform the following specific tasks:

  • Modifications
  • Certification and development of avionics modifications (such as TCAS)
  • Structural repair programs (such as SSIP, CPCP)
  • Decoration, rebuilding cabin interior and changing configuration as requested by the customer
  • Aircraft & engine washing with special equipment
  • Complete stripping and painting of aircraft in our fully equipped Paint Shop. (Including wide-body aircraft)

Our Maintenance Services are provided for the following aircraft types and their components:

AIRBUS TYPE: A300, A310, A320*, A330*, A340 SERIES
BOEING TYPE: B707*, B727, B737, B737NG, B767-300ER*
BRITISH AEROSPACE TYPE: RJ70, RJ100, BAE146* SERIES
GULFSTREAM MODEL: GIV

All Non Asterisked Items: Maintenance up to and including "D or S" checks and related maintenance.

All Asterisked Items (*): Limited to the performance of line maintenance only.
