Accompanied Minors
Minors between 3 months to 7 years old can be accompanied by a member of the airline staff following request from parents or appointed guardians without any charge.
Travel Procedures
- Minors between 3 and 7 years old can travel with parents/appointed guardian or, on request, an escort.
- Minors between 7 and 12 years old can travel unaccompanied but, if requested, an escort can be provided.
- An escort can accompany a maximum of 2 minors, but no more than one infant.
- On request from parents travelling with infants under 2 years of age, an escort can be provided.
- Escorts must be requested at least 48 hours before the departure time.
- The language of the minor must be notified.
- All expenses must be covered by the passengers.
- The accompanied minor must be handed over/welcomed by, parents/appointed guardian. If an accompanied minor is handed over or welcomed by an appointed guardian, authorization from a notary public is requested.
- An accompanied Minor Declaration Form must be prepared and signed mutually.
- The escort must be at the check-in area at least half hour before the departure time.
- Parents/appointed guardian have to stay at the airport until the flight is airborne.
