1. Can I Check My Baggage To The Last Destination?

Yes, you can check your baggage to the last destination. If you are changing your ticketed itinerary, please advise the airport agent before checking your luggage. Please ask at the transfer point if you will be able to collect your baggage at the final destination according to the custom regulations of that country.

2. What Should I do if I Don't Receive My Baggage upon Arrival?

Please proceed to lost and found department. Make sure that you collect and keep your "property irregularity report". You can track the status of your baggage via our web site also.

3. What Is My Free Baggage Allowance?

For Economy Class Passengers: 20 Kg*
For business class passengers: 30 kg*
For USA and Canada, both economy and business class passengers max.2 pieces (Each piece 32 kg)

And;

For economy class passengers: Sum of the 3 dimensions of two pieces must not exceed 273 cm.
For business class passengers: Sum of the 3 dimensions of each piece must not exceed 158 cm.

*Free baggage allowance may differ according to route and ticket.

4. How much do I pay for excess baggage?

It varies according to your travel. For more information please proceed to the nearest Turkish Airlines Sales Office prior to your flight.

5. What are the guidelines about cabin baggage?

You are allowed to carry only one carry-on bag on board. Its dimensions must be 23x40x55 cm and must weigh max. 8kg. Please do not carry dangerous articles such as weapon, knives, scissors etc. Otherwise they will be taken during the security check. Attach labels both to the inside and outside of your baggage with your name and address on. Please show your cabin bag to our check-in staff in order to get it labeled. If you complete your check-in by internet or by self check-in machine, please get your cabin baggage label from our staff at the boarding gate. Non-labeled carry-on bags are not allowed in to the aircraft.
