Actually, there is nothing imaginary about the seahorse, which is as real as you or me, one of the most fascinating creatures in the sea thanks to its various colors, habitat and way of life. But catching sight of this mythological creature underwater, that is in its natural setting, is not as easy as one might suppose, while capturing an image of it is even harder. There are two main reasons for this. First, seahorses choose to live where there is abundant vegetation; and second, they are past masters of camouflage.
