This master artist who, with his memorable melodies, put his signature on the memorable moments of our lives, took up music to fill the void left in his life by the death of his mother when he was quite small, pouring out his feelings from morning to night on the organ his father bought for him... Following instruction as a part-time piano student at the Istanbul Municipal Conservatory, Melih Kibar entered the German High School, where he embarked upon his professional career with a piece he composed for the school orchestra.
