Cost-cutting measures taken in 2003 have enabled us to make reductions of up to 30 percent in fare prices on domestic flights, and we are planning fare reductions of nearly 10 percent on our international flights. Our objective is to make flying a reliable and affordable means of transport for everyone. The increase in passenger numbers shows that we are heading in the right direction.
I am happy to announce our new price campaign for domestic flights. Single fares for all domestic flights out of Istanbul are now 109 million Turkish liras, including taxes, and single fares on domestic flights out of Ankara are 89 million Turkish liras, including taxes. Dear passengers, your safety is our top priority. As elsewhere in the world, security checks at Turkish airports have now become even stricter than before, and therefore we urge that you arrive at the airport in good time for your flights.
