What is the most important difference between caricature and graphic design?
Actually, the difference between being a caricature artist and being a graphic designer is that, in a caricature, human and human-related feelings are manipulated but the sense of humour that is the basis of caricature distracts you somewhat from the sharpness of the message. Whether you are a caricaturist or a graphic artist, if you are doing this for income purposes your work will lack quality, feelings. Caricature also has the advantage of not losing its popularity through the years.
I am a lecturer at the Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty, I do not have such anxiety about income, which helps the quality my work. If you want the name of the most important one, who set the example for today, it is Ihap Hulusi, who started graphic design in Turkey.
