In April we launched a campaign both to celebrate Children’s Day on 23 April and encourage an interest in civil aviation among children, who are the adults of the future. Now we are ready to announce the results.

Children who flew Turkish Airlines between 20 and 27 April were asked to fill in forms, and 50 applicants have won free return tickets for themselves and their parents from Istanbul to Miami and 34 applicants from Istanbul to Paris.

Another campaign was launched on 15 June 2000, lasting until 15 September 2000, this time for honeymoon couples. Couples married after 15 May 2000 will receive one free Turkish Airlines ticket when they purchase one Business Class ticket to Budapest, Vienna,

Madrid, Barcelona, Cairo, Miami, Singapore, Beijing, Bang-kok, Shanghai, Johannes-burg or Cape Town.This is an opportunity not to be missed to enjoy the comfort of travelling Turkish Airlines Business Class and receive a free ticket to spend an unforgettable honeymoon in one of these fascinating cities. I advise newly married couples to hurry so as not to miss this offer, as in the high season flights are quickly booked up.Turkish Airlines is continuing to add new services aimed at benefiting passengers.

Now passengers flying to Miami, New York and Chicago will not be kept waiting at United States customs. Thanks to the APIS agreement with the US Customs Authority, your passport information will arrive while you are still in the air, so you will be able to proceed quickly through the Blue Lane.
