new investments have also been made in personnel training to raise quality standards. Investment is continuing to equip the training facilities where Turkish Airlines trains its own pilots, who number among the most skilled and capable in the world, with the most up-to-date training apparatus of our time. The B 737-800 full flight simulator ordered by Turkish Airlines from CAE Electronics and Evans & Sutherland has been certified at Interim Level C by both the Turkish and British civil aviation authorities, and has now gone into use at our Flight Training Centre.
The Turkish Airlines Flight Training Centre, which has been authorised as a type rating training organisation (TRTO), covers an area of 15,600 square metres.
