Dear Passengers,

Turkish Airlines is delighted to have received two Skal 2000 Quality awards, which are regarded as the Oscars of the tourism sector. Turkish Airlines, which constantly endeavours to improve service quality, taking into account the suggestions of our passengers, was selected to receive the Airline Award again this year. And our inflight magazine Skylife, whose articles are so widely admired and which is read with such interest by our passengers, was presented with the Tourism Press award.

The fact that these awards were given by the Skal Club, which brings together top-level executives of the tourism sector with the aim of improving quality in the sector, makes us even more proud. We will continue to aim for the very best for our passengers.Now let me tell you about another new service introduced by Turkish Airlines.

As of 29 October 2000, a new Frequent Flyer programme has been launched. Entitled Miles & Miles, every flight you make with Turkish Airlines, including domestic flights, and hotel stays and car rentals from partner companies will return to you as 'miles'. And not only when you fly by Turkish Airlines, but also by American Airlines, Swissair, Sabena and TAP (Air Portugal), the miles you fly will be added to your Miles and Miles card. Meanwhile, Turkish Airlines, in cooperation with Garanti Bankasi, is planning a new Shop and Miles credit card.

All purchases you make with this card will increase your 'mileage'. Under the Miles & Miles Frequent Flyer programme we are issuing two types of cards.

The first is the Classic Card which will be sent to our Qualiflyer members and to new members, and the other the Elite Card for our Travelclub members.
