Technical Trainings

Technical Training Management as a part of the Turkish Airlines (THY) Academy is located at the third floor of THY’s new hangar at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, provides services with the principle of meeting the demand of its sector with the world class quality.

Technical Training Management, with its;
- EASA Part 147 Aircraft Maintenance Training Certificate,
- ISO 9001 Quality Certificate,
- Modern methods on aircraft maintenance training
- Line and base maintenance training courses on many kinds of aircraft types
- Easy access to the Turkish Airlines fleet and to the maintenance facilities (Two Hangars),
- 15 classrooms with a total of 3000 meter square which are fully equipped with various
multimedia technology,
- 20 experienced maintenance instructors,
- Highly motivated managers and consistent staff,
is a leader in Turkey and its region. Also it is among the highly accounted aircraft training organizations all throughout the world and is endeavoring to become a leader in its sector.

Technical Training applies a modular training concept in accordance with the EASA Part 66 at its facility. Aircraft airframe and avionics systems type rating (up to EASA Part 66 Level III) courses, for the below listed aircraft, are offered in accordance with the standards laid down in EASA Part 66 Appendix III.

Airbus Series A330/A340, A319/A320/A321, A310, A300 B2/B4, A300-600
Boeing Series B737-3/4/500 (Classic), B737-6/7/8/900 (NG), B757, B727
BAE Avro Series RJ 70/100

In addition to the type rating courses, Aircraft Familiarization Courses (EASA Part 66 Level I) are also offered for the managers and the support staff of airlines and/or MRO organizations.

Technical Training will tailor customized Refresher & UpdateTraining courses, for your Certifying Staff and other technical personnel according to your requirements and demand.

Technical Training provides On Job Training (OJT) solutions with respect to a solid agreement with the THY OJT Department (organized under THY Technic Inc.) such as task training, engine run-up, ETOPS, anti-icing/de-icing, etc.
