destination and time of departure)

A great deal of research has been done with regard to children in the age groups 1-6, 7-12 and 13 and above. These groups are further divided into basic nutritive, mineral and vitamin requirements. The wide range of nutritional trends for children of different age groups based on ethnic, religious or medical grounds are taken account of in order that they become part of the entire flight experience.

Children have the need for a variety of foods and healthy nutrition. Salt and sugar have been added to our children’s meals in their natural form which helps to develop childrens' taste.

There is no special meal service on Domestic Routes.

You can ask for a special meal request when reserving tickets through Turkish Airlines which are then to be used on other codesharing airlines.

"Special meal requests" must be submitted at the time of booking or at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight.

CHML (Child Meal): Your children will simply love the specially prepared children’s menu which is served as part of a special children's kit that includes toys to keep them amused and occupied during the flight.

BBML (Baby Meal): Your baby's needs are as important to us as they are to you. Vegetable and fruit based meals for your baby will be available on any of our flights, as long as you have made your request when making your reservation.
