Geographic Location Denmark placed at the North Europe is the southermost and smallest Scandinavian coutry. It is consisted of Jutland Peninsula and a great deal of islands. Stretching along Baltic Sea and North Sea, it has the only land border with Germany. Bornholm, Sjaelland and Fyn are a few of the big islands within the borders of country.

General Information

Composed of Jutland Peninsula and a great deal of surrounding islands, Denmark is one of the smallest countries of Europe. Exotic villages and towns, historical castles and attractions, cities with small and big oasises, islands each one of which is a natural and historical treasury and a great deal more are existed in Denmark... It is one of the most wanted things to visit a country of all kinds of activities. The thousands km long coast is highly diverse by its large beaches, small and big bays, beautiful fjorts and wind platforms. The beaches of country is close to all the cities.     

Kopenhagen is alluring with its high churches and skyscrapers, historical attractions, coastline, port and huge pedestrian malls like Strøget. The very green gardens and parks are the best reflection of the generous nature.  

Elsinore Castle of Hamlet, Kronborg Castle, Royalty Theater, Royal Denmark Ballet, Little Mermaid, Amalienborg Palace and National Museum are among the highlights that you should travel. Kopenhagen Port is shown as the best and the busiest port of Europe.

Bornholm Island found in Baltic Sea is 7 hours away from Kopenhagen by ferry. The photographic fishing villages, long beaches and diverse geography make the island an attractive holiday location.   

Denmark is attractive by its turquoise rivers. Susaen River placed at Zealand and Gudenaen River found in Jutlnad Peninsula are impressive with their magnificent natural scenes. These places are convenient for water sports.
