General Information
The modern Khartoum, high buildings, mosques, markets and dim boulevards birng in Sudan a genuine atmosphere. Placed at the confluence of White and Blue Niles, Khartoum is pretty impressive through Omdurman Deve Market, Arabian Market and National Museum. Bajrawiya, Naga and Meroe are the most archeological sites of the capital.
The Red Sea coast is one of the most important tourism regions of Sudan. Sudan Port, Suakin and Arous Tourist Village are the major places to invent the region. Erkowit holiday resort placed at the mountanious part of the coast is an excellent place by its Red Sea views and green flora.
The North part of country is covered by Nubian and Libyan desserts. The only fertile land is placed at the Nile Valley.
