Traveling with pets

1. Can I travel together with my pet in cabin?

Sure, but first of all you need a reservation for your pet (only dogs, cats). These animals are accepted in standard boxes, which are 45x35x23 cm, and the passengers should provide these boxes. Passengers have to carry the live animal’s health/vaccination certificates with them. Total weight of the animal together with the box must not exceed 6 kg. These animals can be maximum 2 dogs sharing the same box. 2 cats are not allowed in the same box. Total number of animals on a flight may differ according to the aircraft type. These animals must be clean, scentless and harmless. If the animal is not under certain conditions, station staff has the right not to accept the animal to the flight.

2. How will I be able to carry my pet that exceeds cabin standards?

Pets (dogs, cats) weigh heavier than 6 kg, have a box/cage bigger than 45x35x23 cm will be transported in the cargo compartment of the aircraft. Passengers have to carry the live animal’s health/vaccination certificates with them. These animals can be maximum 2 dogs sharing the same box/cage. 2 cats are not allowed in the same box/cage. Maximum 3 baby animals, which are born from the same mother at the same time, can be transported in the same box/cage (Until 6 months). Total number of animals on a flight may differ according to the aircraft type. These animals must be clean, scentless and harmless. Females must not be pregnant. Containers must be large enough so that the animal can stand upright or lie down in comfort. If the animal is not under certain conditions, station staff has the right not to accept the animal to the flight.

3. Do I pay for carriage of my pet?

Without taking into consideration passengers’ free baggage allowance, pet is weighed together with the box and charged as excess baggage. For USA and Canada flights, determined charge is applied
