Whatever you import or export, you may simply deliver and collect your shipment within the scheduled time frames and leave the rest to TURKISH AIRLINES. Currently on domestic flights TURKISH CARGO service is provided with passenger planes to 38 destinations, 5 of which have TURKISH CARGO organizations locally. On international flights, there are 67 destination points in Europe, 4 in the USA, 13 in Africa, 19 in the Middle East, 18 in Middle Asia and the Far East. All connections between the departure and arrival points are carried out either by air or by land transport.

General Information and Precautions

Fresh fish is to be packed with ice blocks and sacks.
Fresh vegetables and fruits must be transported in wooden boxes or baskets with holes.
Textile products must be strengthened with tape and straps
For meat please make sure that it is wrapped with fabric so as not to bleed.
For livestock: First of all you should confirm your reservation for each point concerned between the departure and the arrival points. What you need to have is: Shippers certificate for live animals, health certificate and permission for export-import. For bugs, birds, fish, shellfish and farm animals, cash on delivery is not accepted. Apart from weight, which is the major factor in determining the fare rate, animals feeds and the toys they play with (if any) are also added to the cost. Livestock may also be carried in the cargo compartments of the passenger planes. We would like to remind you that we confer to the IATA regulations.
Your valuables will be transported and handled in strict confidence. Special care will be taken not to deliver them on weekends and holidays. For the lost, lacking or damaged cargo TK immediately informs the appropriate parties and starts the legal procedure in line with the local regulations. TK undertakes to transport valuables by air only. Partial transport of valuables by ground is not possible.
